Winter

December 21st - March 21st

Winter Solstice is the day of the year with the least daylight hours.  Amounts of light from the Sun and the Moon have queued the functions of living things for time immemorial, known as
circadian rhythms.  Winter is a time to go spend time
going inward to reflect, relax, and rewire.

Physical activity intervals to warm body & circulation, as well as fruits and vegetables in diet.

Observe your balancing of energy and emotions - what you take in and what you put out.  Enjoy comedy and reading.

A time to nourish the kidneys and bladder.
Ample restfulness, nutrition, and relaxation are
beneficial for grounding during the
resting season of Winter.

Peppermint, marshmallow root, ginger root, nettle, and
comfrey root are common herbs to consider this time of year.
