Fall Equinox is a good time for cleansing the body
to lighten oneself for Fall's work of harvesting in preparation of Winter's turning within. Exercise for sweat & circulation helps cleanse, as well as fruits and vegetables in diet.
A time to nourish the lungs and large intestines. The rhythm of one's breathing ripples in effect to the rest of the system - breathwork is foundational. Observe your energy and it's balance - what you take in and what you put out.
Burdock, Comfrey, Licorice, Ginger, & Slippery Elm are common herbs to consider this time of year.
